In this episode, I talk with Jeff Krebs, who's known in the kindie world as Papa Crow. Jeff is using PledgeMusic to fund his second full-length family music album Full Moon, Full Moon. I chat with Krebs about his entry into family music, surrounding oneself with music-makers in a small community, and his choice to use PledgeMusic.

Description : With the resurgence in family music, especially over the past five years or so, you can find many different subgenre albums -- punk, polka, country, what-have-you. But there really isn't any ragtime kindie out there. I suppose one could argue that a lot of ragtime -- think Scott Joplin -- is kid-friendly, but this new project from Michigan's River Raisin Ragtime Revue promises a nice little animal-themed distraction and maybe a different entry point into this very American musical style. I'm eager to hear the result. (Hurry up, though, if you want to pledge -- the campaign ends today, Wednesday.)
